Terms & Conditions

  • We try to confirm all bookings in writing or via email within 5 days. A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person is required to secure your booking. Cheques should be made payable to Hillcrest House. Credit / debit card details can also be provided to secure bookings. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, Amex and JCB cards.
  • Your room will be ready for you from 3pm - 9pm, earlier or later by arrangement. On the day of departure we would ask you to be ready to leave by 10.30m.

  • All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of deposit and at the tariff quoted. All deposits paid are non-refundable.

  • Since March 26th 2006, we have operated a non-smoking policy throughout the house. Those found breaking this policy will be asked to settle their account in full, plus an additional night charges for cleaning, and to leave.

  • In case of cancellation 1 -7 days prior to arrival date, if we are unable to re-let the room/s, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the total cost of the booking. More than 7 days notice will be loss of deposit only. In case of “no show”, and being unable to re-let the room/s – the full balance of your stay will be due. If it becomes necessary to apply these cancellation charges we may charge your original credit/debit card. If this is not successful, you will be contacted to arrange alternative payment.

  • During your stay the proprietors cannot accept responsibility for the loss of guests’ property or damage to car parked in the car park.

  • We reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is part to that contract cause any detriment to the well being of other guests.

  • When booking your stay you are entering into a legally binding contract and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover.

  • Pets are welcome in certain rooms; however they are not allowed in the dining room and should not be left alone in your room. You will be liable for any damage caused by your pet during your stay

  • Accounts must be paid in full before departure. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, or major debit or credit card.
  • We do have police approved gun safes available for our guests` use.  These are used at your own risk.
