The Glasgow Girls: 3rd July - 30th August. Kirkcudbright 200 supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council presents and exhibition of works by `The Glasgow Girls` as its annual suumer art Exhibition.
Galloway Woodfest: 29th August - Woods are an amazing place for creativity, leisure, sport, wildlife and fun. With heaps going on to keep the whole family entertained all day its one event not to miss this year.
Scottish Food Fortnight: 4th - 19th September. Two special events being arranged - on the 5th & 10th we are doing special 100% local evening meals, with extra additional info about our suppliers. Please contact us for menus and to book for these extra special evenings.
Creetown Country Music Festival: 17th - 19th September. Programme still being developed so keep an eye on the site.
2010 Literary Festival : 24th Sept - 3rd October . Programme now available! Includes Ian Rankin, Barbara Dickson, Phyllida Law, Sally Magnusson, Allan Massie, Val McDermid, Candia McWilliam, Margo MacDonald, Gervase Phinn, Gavin Pretor-Pinney. and many, many more! Also this year there is a screenwriting course - being held here at Hillcrest, over both weekends. See Festival website for all details.
October 2010: To celebrate our Dark Skies Park status, from October we will be hosting regular Stargazing Weekend breaks - still putting all the final details together, so please get in touch if interested.
November 2010: We will be hosting a Good Food Weekend - celebrating all the best the area has to offer. Please enquire for more information.
Taste of Dumfries & Galloway: 13th & 14th November. The popular food event is back. Come along to sample and buy some fantastic food straight from the producer.
