Hillcrest is a beautiful old house, so we have been careful with our changes as we wanted to retain the
character and charm of the building, and we work hard at combining good, honest food and drink
with lovely, comfortable rooms - all adding up to a perfect stay.

Whether your perfect break includes Dark Sky star-gazing, birdwatching (several of our rooms
look directly to the new RSPB reserve at the Crook of Baldoon), walking, cycling, gardens, golf,
fishing, or just relaxing and browsing the many bookshops, stay with us, eat with us, and share with
